Rt. 123 Blocked Wednesday Morning After 10,000-Pound Slab of Concrete Falls Off Truck

Traffic could be tied up.

Northbound lanes on Route 123 aka Ox Road in Fairfax Station Wednesday morning may be a little tied up.

That's where a 10,000-pound slab of concrete fell off a truck, forcing the road to close after the incident happened at about 5 a.m., according to a report from The Washington Post.

As of about 6:40 a.m., police had closed three lanes of Ox Road at Silverbrook Road, with only one turn lane getting through.
