Utah Man Arrested For Child Exploitation by Fairfax County Police

A 25-year-old Utah man has been accused of trying to solicit a Fairfax County minor online.

Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department’s Child Exploitation Unit started an investigation on May 14 involving online communications.

A search warrant was served in Utah on Thursday. Shaun R. Gordon was charged with two counts of using a communications device to solicit a minor and the Utah County Sheriff’s Department charged him with four counts of exploitation of a minor.

Gordon will be extradited to Fairfax County. Detectives worked with several law enforcement agencies on the case. The investigation is ongoing.
