VIDEO: FCPD Chopper Finds Freezing Man in Wooded Area
Flight officers found a man freezing in a wooded area of Fairfax County and released video Tuesday of the rescue.
Fairfax County police flight officers using heat-seeking radar located a distraught, wounded man on a frigid January afternoon in Fairfax County, in a video released Tuesday by FCPD. Police did not give the exact location of the rescue.
They quickly directed patrol officers to the man's location and, likely this timely response saved his life, according to FCPD.
