Braddock Candidates Announce Final Debates

Braddock District Board of Supervisors candidates John Cook, Janet Oleszek, and Carey Campbell will face off in an additional six debates in October.

October 27th, 7:30 p.m.
Ravensworth Elementary School, 5411 Nutting Drive, Springfield
Hosted by Ravensworth Civic Association
Moderator: Jim Hickey
Sixty minute debate, featuring 3 minute opening and closing statements, and questions from the audience (through cards passed to moderator) where each candidate will have 90 seconds to answer. Each candidate will also have up to two rebuttal opportunities for up to 60 seconds each.  

November 2nd, 7 p.m.
Kings Park Elementary School, 5400 Harrow Way, Springfield

Sixty minute debate, featuring questions between the candidates. Each candidate will have two questions for each of their opponents. During each question, the candidate asking the question will have one minute to ask their question. The candidate receiving the question will have two minutes to respond. The candidate not asking or receiving that question will have one minute to also respond.  Finally, the candidate who asked the question will have one minute to rebut and wrap up their question before.
