Council Holds Special Budget Meeting

The Town Council is holding a special meeting Thursday where they plan to approve the town's budget.

The bulk of the town’s spending in the proposed budget will go toward payroll and contractual expenses.  The town is set to bring $183,470 in revenue with $177,342 in expenses.

Expenses include $48,443 in payroll expenses and contractual expenses for groups including the beautification committee, homes tour committee, and preservation committee.
