Fairfax Co. Seeks Your Input on New Executive

Fairfax County is seeking your input on a new county executive

Fairfax County residents can provide insight on what qualities they would like to see for the next county executive, a person whose position entails handling the day-to-day operations of the county.

Anthony Griffin will retire in April after 12 years on the job. Before then, the Board of Supervisors will begin a nationwide search for his replacement.

A town hall meeting with a panel discussion on Griffin's replacement will be held on Jan. 9 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Kings Park Library Meeting Room at 9000 Burke Lake Road.
