Town of Clifton Submits Request For Proposal For Main St. Redevelopment

The Town of Clifton is soliciting proposals for the design and multi-phased redevelopment of Main St.

The Town's major thoroughfare will be reconstructed, and that means the redevelopment of 650 feet of sidewalks on both sides of Main St. down to the pedestrian bridge at Popes Head Creek.
Construction would include:
- On-street parking reconstruction
- Roadway centerline shifts
- Utility pole removal
- Drainage structure construction
- New street lighting
- Tree plantings
