Football defeats Herndon 56-38

Robinson Football (2-5):

The Rams defeated Herndon 56-38 last Friday and grabbed their second win in as many weeks. The 56 points scored is a season high. Ram running back Tyrek Worrell had a career night as he rushed for 203 yards and scored four rushing touchdowns. Worrell now has 665 yards and eight rushing touchdowns on the season.

Joe Wilson and Patrick Baker rushed for 115 and 110 yards respectively. Wilson also had two rushing touchdowns while Baker had one. Baker also threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver David Cook, who finished the evening with 82 receiving yards.

Robinson hosts Oakton this Friday.

JV Football (4-3-1):

The JV football squad defeated Herndon 33-0 last Thursday and travels to Oakton this Thursday.

Robinson Volleyball (11-10):

Robinson suffered a 3-1 loss against Chantilly last Thursday but rebounded with a 3-2 victory over Herndon Wednesday evening, winning matches 25-23, 25-21 and 15-10.

The team travels to Oakton on Thursday in the last game of the regular season.

JV Volleyball (4-9):

Ram volleyball went 1- l this week. Chantilly defeated the Rams 2-1 last Thursday in a close contest. Robinson defeated Herndon 2-0 on Wednesday, picking up their fourth win of the season. The team closes the season out Thursday on the road at Oakton.Β
