Robinson, Union Mill Receive 'Excellence' Award

Robinson Secondary School and Union Mill Elementary School were recently recognized by the Virginia Board of Education.

Both Robinson Secondary and Union Mill Elementary schools were given a state Board of Education Excellence Award.

The awards are given by the Virginia Board of Education to recognize schools that exceed minimum state and federal accountability standards and meet or exceed a number of performance indicators.

In total, 60 Fairfax County Schools were recognized.
