88 CDC*CT Dancers "Celebrate" at GMU vs. MD Women's Basketball Halftime Show

By special invitation, 88 dancers from the Creative Dance Center Award Winning Competition Team will simultaneously take the floor and perform “Celebration” at the George Mason University vs. University of Maryland Women's Basketball Game Halftime Show at 2:00p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2011! 

This hot jazz showstopper, choreographed by Chantilly’s talented Staci Frye and Jamie Frye, features 88 area dancers, aged 5 to 18 years, from Fairfax, Dulles, Ashburn, Leesburg, Brambleton, Chantilly, South Riding, Sterling, and Centerville among others.  This single dance presentation is 4 minutes that you will not want to miss.

Housed in Chantilly’s own Creative Dance Center Studios, the CDC*CT competes approximately 220 dances annually both on national and regional levels in jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, contemporary, musical theater and open categories.  Their efforts in the 2011 season earned the esteemed title of the Highest Scoring Studio Team at the 2011 Star Systems National Competition in Myrtle Beach.

In 1986, Ramona Batchelder, opened the first CDC studio in Chantilly, then, in 2002, she opened the second studio in Ashburn.
