Robinson Run to Support Wounded Warriors

The run will be Saturday, June 9.

Registration is open for an upcoming race at that will benefit wounded warriors.

The run takes place on Saturday, June 9 and will support the Wounded Warrior Project, which assists veterans with severe injuries in transitioning to civilian life. The school’s wrestling program is sponsoring the race.

Participants will join in on a 5K run and 1 mile fun run on campus and in the neighborhood surrounding the school. The top two overall male and female age group winners will receive awards.

Online and mail-in registration is $25 on or before June 1. After June 1, and on race day, registration is $35. Students are eligible for a $3 discount. T-shirts are guaranteed only for runners and walkers registered by June 1.

Register online at www.prraces.com, or you may pay by check, money order or credit card. Early race packet pick-up (and registration) is on Thursday, June 7, and Friday, June 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Potomac River Running Store 5715 Burke Centre Parkway. Race day registration and check-in will be from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m.
