Car Dealers Raise $10,000 for Local Preschool
Sheehy raised funds at a 'Touch a Truck' event held April 5 in Burke.
Sheehy Ford and Sheehy Nissan of Springfield helped to raise $10,000 to benefit Spring-Mar Cooperative Preschool at a recent “Touch a Truck” event that gave the community an opportunity to get up-close-and-personal with the 2014 Ford Escape and 2014 Nissan Rogue. It was held April 5 in Burke at Lake Braddock Secondary School.
“More than 2,200 people came out to support this 4th annual event where we brought vehicles, provided complimentary coloring activities and sponsored a ‘selfie’ contest for attendees,” said Frank McCarthy, general manager of Sheehy Ford of Springfield. “We are pleased to support our community and wonderful organization.
