Clifton Therapy Horse "Peachy Keen" Set to Retire

Peaches is set to retire.

Beloved therapy horse “Peachy Keen” is retiring from the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program.

The Clifton-based organization made the announcement in an email last week. Peachy Keen is retiring at the age of 33.

“Peachy Keen, a.k.a. Peaches, has spent over half her life as a therapy horse, providing therapeutic riding and hippotherapy sessions to children and adults with disabilities and youth at risk. Her sassy yet sweet attitude makes her a favorite among many riders, volunteers, and community members,” a note from the riding program reads.
