Ekoji Buddhist Temple
Ekoji is a warm and accepting Buddhist Temple whose mother establishment is located in Kyoto, Japan. The term Ekoji means "Temple of the gift of light." Founded in 1981, Ekoji moved to its current location on Lakehaven Lane in 1998. The Temple exercises Shin Buddhism, taught by Rev. Kurt Rye. It also hosts many cultural activities and community events. Services are open to everyone, of any religion or background. Tours for newcomers are given frequently throughout the week.
