Global TV Network is a television network produced by and for Indian, Pakistani and Afghani people in the United States. It produces two shows in the NBC studios in Washington, D.C. Chitrimala airs Saturdays from 11am to noon and Salaam India airs Saturdays from 12:30pm to 1 pm. Chitrimala concentrates on entertainment, performers and Bollywood news. Both shows focus on arts and health in the Asian subcontinent and local issues for immigrants, including laws and business. Global also produces Facets of Hinduism, a show hosted by Dr. Rajesh Nandan Mehra. All these shows can be viewed on cable, satellite and digital cable channels.
