This building was converted from a Food Lion to a sleek, spacious, highly modern temple to the human body back in 2008, and this Gold's location accordingly still looks fresh. Moreover, this gym features the ultimate in contemporary exercise amenities: a cardio movie theater with a different film played daily for joggers and exercise bikers. 

There is a basketball court on which one can often find a pickup game, although the quality of the playing surface is extremely poor (it's very slippery).  

Another drawback of this gym is just how popular it it: If you like some solitude while you're working out after work, look elsewhere. This place is packed during peak hours.

This gym offers a wide array of classes daily; some classes the gym hosts are yoga, gentle yoga, power yoga, Pilates, "yogalates," karate, "Bodypump," "Bodystep," "Bodyflow," "Ab lab," and "Body Combat." Gold's Gym maintains a sauna.
