Pope's Head Nursery, in business for more than 50 years, has been owned by Adam Love since 2004. About 20 years ago, he started Ground One Landscape Company in Merrifield. The recent purchase of Pope's Head Nursery gives his company many more ways to serve builders, major contractors, and especially individual gardeners. Long-time Fairfax residents will remember the picturesque green farmhouse which was once the headquarters for Pope's Head Nursery. After it burned down, Adam replaced it with a handsome log home, where he and his family now live. A Virginia native, Adam graduated from Robinson High School and then Virginia Tech. He is happy to live close to where he grew up, to raise his children here, and to catch up with old high school friends.
