Moved to 6319 Multiplex Drive, Centreville, VA 20121 as of Spring 2012.
Horse owners and riders in Fairfax County head straight to the Clifton Saddlery for all their horse needs. Located in the heart of picturesque Clifton, this beautiful store was established by Sue and Gary Clairmonte in 1987. After 20 years, they sold the business to accountant Liz Nuti in February 2007. Nuti, who lives two miles down the road in Fairfax Station and owns horses herself, has maintained the welcoming atmosphere and the expert service that equestrians have come to expect.
The charming shop has exceptional merchandise for almost every English riding discipline. Whether you are a backyard trail rider, a hunter jumper or a dressage enthusiast, you will find what you need. If you are a national champion, a beginner at riding camp, an experienced endurance rider,or a 4-H or Pony Club member, the capable sales staff can advise you. If you are at a horse show and desperately need a piece of equipment, the Saddlery's tack trailer may be there to rescue you.
The selection of new and used saddles is huge. If you aren't sure what size or type to buy, the sales staff will be happy to consult with you and then place an order for you. An eye-popping array of blankets, sheets, bits, bridles, reins, saddle pads, and halters complete the horse's outfit.
Riders have an unbelievably wide selection, too. Many styles and brands of riding breeches, shirts, and show jackets await the shopper. Helmets, gloves, belts, boots, sweaters, barn jackets and even tennis shoes are available. Supplies for horses are extensive. Fly spray, fly masks, wormers, supplements, brushes, leather cleaners, shampoos and conditioners in a variety of brands are just a few of the items on hand to make horses beautiful and comfortable.
For people who don't ride, Clifton Saddlery offers unparalleled shopping. Gifts for every person, every age and every occasion are displayed beautifully. All the adorable baby clothes and toys make you long for a baby shower to attend. The Arthur Court metal products, the jewelry, the elegant accessories are a treat for your eyes -- and they are not hard on your pocketbook either!
