Max Tax April 26, 2013 at 01:53 pm
Amazing. The Government now considers a non-taxable event as a "loss" or…Read More "expense." Laughable if it weren't true.
And that new law... There is a loophole big enough to tdrive a tax truck through. Business-to-business sales are not taxable if the product will be resold. So big bad Amazon can "sell" a product to a tiny distributor, who sells to the end user, who still does not need to pay a tax if the tiny seller is out of state.

The Workhouse provides a wonderful opportunity for residentis in Fairfax County and neighboring…Read More counties to have an Arts center within close proximity to where they live. However it will not survive with current funding arrangements if they remain the same and this was told to the Board and others years ago when this idea was being discussed. The supposed historic nature of the buildings is costly to maintain and we have a county government that continues to promote other arts centers (Reston area) in the county which takes away funds and interest in the Lorton Arts Workhouse. The Lorton Arts Workhouse was to be "the" destination for those interested in arts in this county. The support from the county fell short and the lack of a realistic budget with the need for a "for profit" mentality leaves this arts center in peril for the future.

First, it's a former prison why does it warrant historic status? It's ugly. Old doen't equal…Read More historic! The need to add retail and restaurants just like the Torpoedo factory in Old Town is surrounded by retail that attract visitors. The area is surrounded by high income neighborhoods yet there are few nice sit down restaurants in the area.

Hey David, give it a rest amigo! Your store was caught red handed... are you saying competitors…Read More planted that evidence??? Give me a break.
This place has always been expensive and, but I still have purchased my cleats from there for the last 15 years. I don't buy jerseys or any of that stuff, so I'm not concerned personally (very difficult to counterfeit cleats), but I hope if they are guilty, they pay for it. I'll be happy to take my business elsewhere.
