Kim Vandemark says that the best part of her job is "taking a dog that's six months overdue and getting it back to where it should be, and seeing how happy it is. They feel so much better without the dirt and the matted hair. They come in looking like a rat or a woolly mammoth and they leave looking a dog again. It's gratifying."
