Established on January 8, 1989, Antioch Baptist Church has been a beacon to its congregants and its community. ItsMore first minister, John Q. Gibbs, prayed with friends for over a year while planning the church. Its first service was held at the Salvation Army's Chapel on Ox Road. Within the next six years, Pastor Gibbs purchased the wooded acreage near Burke Lake Park and built the church that houses Antioch Baptist. He died in 1995, but his memory is still honored for his Christian zeal, his good works and his love of God's word.</p> <p>Under the guidance of Reverend Marshal L. Ausberry, who was chosen pastor in 1995, the church has continued to thrive. It now has more than 50 active ministries, which include programs for families, youth, men, women and singles. Other ministries include music, education and communications and media. The missions program helps the homeless, the sick and elderly and those in jail. Missions are also active in Zimbabwe, Brazil and Haiti. At home, Antioch Baptist has a well-organized, meticulously planned program for reaching out to newcomers as well as people who have lived in Fairfax Station all their lives.</p>

Whether you are a backyard trail rider, a hunter jumper or a dressage enthusiast, you will find what you need.  If you are a national champion, a beginner at riding camp, an experienced endurance rider,or a 4-H or Pony Club member, the capable sales staff can advise you. If you are at a horse show and desperately need a piece of equipment, the Saddlery's tack trailer may be there to rescue you.</p> <p>The selection of new and used saddles is huge. If you aren't sure what size or type to buy, the sales staff will be happy to consult with you and then place an order for you. An eye-popping array of blankets, sheets, bits, bridles, reins, saddle pads, and halters complete the horse's outfit.</p> <p>Riders have an unbelievably wide selection, too. Many styles and brands of riding breeches, shirts,  and show jackets await the shopper. Helmets, gloves, belts, boots, sweaters, barn jackets and even tennis shoes are available. Supplies for horses are extensive. Fly spray, fly masks, wormers, supplements, brushes, leather cleaners, shampoos and conditioners in a variety of brands are just a few of the items on hand to make horses beautiful and comfortable.</p> <p>For people who don't ride, Clifton  Saddlery offers unparalleled shopping.
