Independent candidate Chris DeCarlo doesn't have a huge campaign war chest, but he says the power of rap, a singular message and the Internet are driving his campaign for election to Virginia's 11th District congressional seat. Federal budget sequestration will cripple Northern Virginia's economy, and Chris Perkins, the Republican 11th District Congressional candidate, wants to stop it. What was slated as a forum for candidates vying for Virginia’s 11th congressional district turned into an impromptu debate between incumbent Gerry Connolly (D) and Republican candidate Col. (Ret) Chris Perkins.
