A construction crew is leveling the ground for the patio.
By mid-next week the Clifton Cafe will have a full outdoor patio. A construction crew with JMS Contracting is leveling the ground in front of the business at 7144 Main Street, and that means uprooting trees and shifting dirt around. The coffee shop has a few drinks in mind.
Brrrrrrrr! It's gotten cold recently! Patch just spent a freezing afternoon at the Clifton Cafe, and we were wondering what distinguishing brews we should get. The cafe, which makes crepes and specialty coffee, tea and other drinks, has been a Clifton staple for four years. Barista Alli Pitts has worked at the restaurant for three years, and said that while the drinks can seem pricey ($4 for a small drink to $5.75 for a large), they're not your average cup of joe. "All of our drinks with chocolate are made with dark chocolate," said Alli. "We try to keep our drinks on the less sweet side so that you can taste the coffee, because our coffee speaks for itself." Alli's Top Recommendations: Not strong enough for you? "Our motto is that you…
