Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce Hosts the 33rd Annual Valor Awards
Awards honor local police, fire and rescue; proceeds from event fund scholarships.
More than 700 attendees honored the bravery of selfless heroes at the 33rd Annual Valor Awards on Monday at the McLean Hilton in Tysons. Proceeds from the event, which was hosted by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, will benefit the Valor Scholarship Fund, which provides postsecondary educational scholarships to the children of Medal of Valor recipients. "The prosperity and quality of life that Fairfax County enjoys are due in no small measure to the selfless and courageous acts of our community's public safety and law enforcement employees," said L.
