UPDATE: SUV Driver Had Medical Emergency When He Hit Fairfax Station Woods Community Marker

The marker was run into on Tuesday evening

Details have emerged from Tuesday evening's crash into the Fairfax Station Woods community marker. At around 7:20 p.m., a 48-year-old Fairfax Station man experienced a "medical emergency" and drove off the road, striking a one-way sign, the Clipper Drive road sign and crashed into the stone and cement structure, according to Fairfax County Police.  The driver was conscious when emergency personnel arrived, and drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash. He was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital.  ------- The Fairfax Station Woods community marker was smashed by an SUV Tuesday evening, according to a neighbor who heard the crash and witnessed Fairfax County Police and Fire and Rescue at the scene.  The driver reportedly was not …
