How Can Republicans Return to Their Winning Ways?

The Republican Women of Clifton are discussing the issue.

How can the GOP come back to being a winning party? That's the topic of discussion in Clifton on April 17, when the Republican Women of Clifton host Crystal Wright, editor of www.conservativeblackchick.com, and Hans A. von Spakovsky, a senior legal fellow at Heritage Foundation (who will discuss voer fraud). “The future of the Republican Party and prevention of voter fraud are timely and important issues,” said RWC President Alice Butler-Short. “We are pleased to have such knowledgeable people talk about these topics.” Wright's blog is frequently republished weekly on Townhall.com, and she has written for the Guardian and theRootDC.com. She's a Virginia native, lives in the District and is "contemplating" a move back to Virginia.  "Hillary…

You won't want to miss this one.

The Republican Women of Clifton will welcome three distinguished individuals at its February meeting. Dr. Ileana Johnson, the bestselling author of "U.N. Agenda 21: Environmental Piracy" will be joined by Stephanie Reis, the founder of the Omaha ACT for America Chapter and property rights advocate Martha Boneta.   “To preserve freedom in America, we must keep informed about the forces working to destroy our liberty so we can combat them,” said RWC President Alice Butler-Short. “Two of those forces are U.N. Agenda 21 and Sharia Law, and our speakers will give us insights into how these are undermining our country.” Johnson, who was born in Communist Romania, is expected to talk about "how billions of unsuspecting people around the world are…

Pablo, Thank-you for posting a reminder that this type of directed racism is not new or unique. However, the lack of originality does not make it any less dangerous or toxic for American Muslims. Many Islam haters profess passionate love for the Jewish people, but have no understanding of the forces that were unleashed against them in German society. Former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis to Speak with Republican Women of Clifton

He'll talk about how Republicans can recover after the 2012 election cycle.

Former Democratic Congressman Artur Davis (7th-Alabama) will speak on Jan. 23 to the Republican Women of Clifton. Davis, who changed his party affiliation after a failed run for the Alabama governorship, will talk about the recent presidential and congressional elections and how Republicans will find success the next time around.  "If today’s generation of Republican centrists are genuinely interested in rebuilding the Republican coalition, it will require the dexterity of motivating the party’s ideological core to embrace a reform agenda, rather than the far less plausible task of rallying the party around a vision that its populist base will vow to defeat," Davis wrote on his website on Jan. 14.  Davis also spoke at the 2012 Republican …

The former Democratic Congressman who switched to the Republican party earlier this year will address the RWC's September meeting.

Artur Davis, former four-term Democratic Congressman from Alabama now campaigning for the Republican Party, will be the featured speaker at the Republican Women of Clifton (RWC) meeting on Sept. 17. Davis, a co-chair of President Barack Obama's 2008 campaign, was on hand August 17 at vice presidential candidate Rep. Paul Ryan's rally in Springfield. Davis will be speaking at the Republican National Convention in late August. “We are delighted that Artur Davis will speak to us about why he has joined the GOP,” said Gearhart. “We also look forward to his insights from the Republican National Convention.” The RWC is the fastest growing Republican women’s club in Northern Virginia, according to club spokesperson Susan Lider.  It is comprised …
