Voter Turnout High in Fairfax Station and Clifton

Update (7:05 p.m. Nov. 6, 2012) Election officers in the Fairfax Station Precinct at St. Peter's said that 1,037 ballots of 1,800 active registered voters had been received as of 5:30 p.m. Clifton election officers reported around 6 p.m. that they had received 2,725 ballots out of 4,537 active registered voters. --- Fairfax Station and Clifton residents went to the polls at a steady pace Tuesday, enjoying midday sunshine despite long lines at some polling locations.
