About Tara
Tara has lived in Old Town for seven years, and has spent the last four years juggling motherhood and her job as a counselor at a Washington DC independent school. She takes great joy in exploring the beauty and charm of Old Town through the eyes of four year old Sophia.
After graduating from Georgetown University, Tara worked as a college admissions officer for five years before becoming a high school counselor. Although she has worked with high school students for nine years, she has found that nothing can prepare you for the challenging, surprising, and endlessly humbling experience of parenthood. She is eager to share stories and with other Old Town parents!
