Count down to Camp Wannadog!

Here's a preview of what will be happening next week at camp!

• Keri Putonen from Unleashed Abilities will be teaching our campers all about how to greet a new dog, understand 'dog language' and learn some basic training techniques, including how to use 'the walk' to help evaluate dogs.

• Campers will get the chance to practice their new skills with carefully screened and temperament-tested dogs from Lost Dog and Cat Rescue, Lucky Dog Rescue and Mutt Love Rescue. 

• Our favorite vet tech from Companion Animal Clinic will be visiting with campers and answering questions about basic vet care.

• Campers will be getting a private guided tour of the newly renovated adoption wing of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter.
